Our CEO, Tim Lyons has built an extensive background in business school education, having been involved with Business Schools and universities for over 25 years. His experience spans Asia, Australia and Europe and includes business schools in Paris, Melbourne, Shanghai and Hong Kong.
His team is just as experienced and brings to you a wealth of understanding and insight.

PROFESSORIAL LEADERSHIP TEAM
All UK China Institute professors are either drawn from the ranks of the great universities and business schools we partner with or directly from industry. Simply put, our teachers are either professionally qualified or academically qualified.
In order to be a professionally qualified Adjunct Professor from industry, our teaching colleagues have had to demonstrate either experience at an entrepreneurial level or senior management/director level experience – or both.
A number of our academically qualified professors have some commercial experience but for those who don’t, their teaching and research skills are impeccable. Widely published and with a real feel for what it is like to be challenged as an entrepreneur.
INDUSTRY LEADERSHIP TEAM
Our delegations and study tours make up a critical element of the learning experience for either DBA, MBA or even PhD students. Several of our senior industry presenters from major corporations form a dynamic group advising for best outcomes of these onsite visits and how they might best integrate with the various programs
It is true that this team of presenters is not directly employed by the Institute but that is by design not by mistake. We want them to come with fresh insight from their various organisations and challenge some of the prevailing pedagogy of the programs. For this reason, we seem they as ‘key personnel’ and quite clearly part of our leadership team.
