WHO SHOULD STUDY OUR PHD?
Our typical PhD candidate is someone looking to uncover a key aspect of the industry they have been a pioneer in and share it with the world. All are successful entrepreneurs and all have studied either undergraduate (with honours) degrees or master degrees.
WHY OUR PHD?
Given our focus on entrepreneurship, it is no surprise that our PhD supervisors are both academically qualified (all have PhD’s themselves as well as significant business experience). It is important to our students that their supervisors understand BOTH their academic AND commercial needs and wants.

Candidate profile
- Completion of a master’s-level program or bachelors level with honours
- Average of 10 years’ ownership of your own organisation
- Steady business growth, highlighting expanding markets and growing customer base
- Strong written and spoken English

We are moving from complete face-to-face contact to a mix of face-to-face and online contact. Keep in mind it is entirely up to you – if you want to keep studying face-to-face only, you are guaranteed the right to do so.
From 2024, you will be able to maintain contact with your dissertation supervisor via a mix of face-to-face and online sessions.
We align the PhD curriculum with a comprehensive set of desired learning outcomes. This allows us to constantly monitor, maintain, and improve the quality of learning and teaching in the program.
Such learning outcomes align with global best practice and current issues such as recent changes in international trade, emerging markets and artificial intelligence.
Total tuition fees for our PhD are $58,000.
Tuition fees include academic services comprising both supervision and related administration. Any costs associated with transportation, housing, or other personal expenses are the sole responsibility of the candidate.
Scholarships and financial assistance are available. We also have payment plans to help you spread the cost.
